The delegations joined the event including: Director of Vietnam Education Quality Management Agency, MOET Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mai Van Trinh; Standing Vice Director of VNU-CEA Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien; Assessment team leader Prof. Dr. Banh Tien Long and members; President of Phenikaa Group Dr. Ho Xuan Nang; Rector of Phenikaa University Prof. Dr. Pham Thanh Huy and his staffs.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Mai Van Trinh emphasized the importance of accreditation for education quality improvement and higher education institutions improvement especially in the context of domestic higher education has been more innovative and autonomy of higher education institutions is increasingly clear. He noted and appreciated the VNU-CEA in the implementation of accreditation activities and affirmed that the Center is the leader of Vietnam on the implementation of quality evaluation and accreditation of educational institutions and programs.

At this event, Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien – Standing Vice Director of VNU-CEA would like to thank Director Mai Van Trinh and the Board of Directors of Phenikaa University for trusting the VNU-CEA. She introduced the quality accreditation process for the Phenikaa University and for the accreditation implementation of VNU-CEA. She proposed the assessment team to performing the assessment activities ensure the regulations, objectivity, honesty. She also look forward to receiving the cooperation of individuals and units for delegation activities during of the site visit.

During the actual site visit, the assessment team whose leader is Prof. Dr. Banh Tien Long will do additional desktop assessment, meeting with key support staffs and interviews relevant stakeholders, observe teaching and learning activities, and assess facilities on campus to verify the information of the university’s self-assessment report.
The site assessment to assess the quality of Phenikaa University will take place from May 15th to 20th 2020.
